Today, November 22, some important discussions took place in the Cabinet of the Netherlands. The main issue was the borders that lack efficiency. Effectively, some illegal activities happen regularly within those borders like human trafficking and drug smuggling. The council discussed how the effectiveness of the borders should be increased to prevent those crimes from happening without affecting other people who have nothing to do with such illicit activities. The Dutch Minister of Education thinks that it all comes back to education. She believes that refugees are being refused jobs because they lack education, so they might start engaging in activities like drug trafficking to make a living. Subsequently, education should be improved for the refugees, or companies should be given specific instructions to hire them.
